I found special Toyota 2000GT at Toyota museum(USA),it was famous British model Twiggy owned golden Toyota 2000GT.

Toyota made 2 golden 2000GT for Tokyo Motor Show and one car was back to Yamaha.

25 years ago Toyota order full restoration to famous Restoration shop in Santa Monica CA with $125,000!

But they did not know and painted Ferrari Red!Original 2000GT color was Solar Red.

I found gold color under red color.

Can you see gold color under red.

Also I checked VIN# MF10-10130,it is real Twiggy's golden Toyota 2000GT!

But it was start my nightmare!

One day this car catch fire! and Toyota bring to my shop.

Fire damaged!

I start remove paint and I found many body damage under paint.
 1 inch thickness bond!

They did not fix and just put bond on body.

Big damage on both side quater panels,under door sill,doors and front nose.

Why so many damage on this car,I know Twiggy had no driving license in England!

Also why famous restoration shop could not fix it?

First step I pull out all dent by puller and hammer and plug old puller holes

Lead works.

Hard for under door sill!

Almost shape is back.

Make sure of all detail and ready to paint, it was long way!

Seven times painted gold with wet sanding each time and 3 time clear coat to finish.

Under the sun shine!

Finished!

Toyota pick up golden car and deliveryed other 2000GT.
